New Survey of Firms' Expectations
The survey of firms’ inflation expectations is a large quarterly representative panel that was created to measure inflation expectations of chief executive officers (CEOs) in the United States. It gathers information about the 12-months-ahead inflation expectations, long-term inflation expectations, perceptions of recent inflation rates, inflation uncertainty, and belief about the Federal Reserve’s inflation target. The survey covers firms in manufacturing and services.
